Anyone Can Do What I Do

Dear Friends,

When I work with clients, I explicitly tell them that I want to teach them as much as I know as quickly as I can.

That way, by the time we’re done working together, they will have everything they need to continue to succeed.

I want you to learn from me, with me, but not depend on me.

Why do I take this approach? I’d have to say a lot of this comes from Gary Vaynerchuk.

He wants to put himself out of business. I liked that.

Imagine a world where everyone has an unbreakable, unshakeable, unstoppable body, mind and life.

I’d gladly find something new to do with my time in exchange for that.

What I’ve found, though, and not so much with my clients but with many in general, is that just because we’re given the opportunity to do something does not mean that we always do it.

I “can” do something and I “will” do something are two entirely different things.

I think it was Transformational Coach Jason Goldberg (who has a book out by the way) where I first heard this powerful statement or something similar to it:

Knowledge without action is just information.

Knowledge with action, however, is transformation.

The difference between being able to do something and actually doing something comes down to a matter of action.

And there is nothing I’ve tried to impress upon you more than understanding that action is everything.

Taking action is hard. I’m sure you’ve learned this somewhere along your journey, and I’m not going to pretend like it isn’t.

You literally have the first law of physics working against you.

Yes, an object in motion tends to stay in motion. But an object at rest, well, wants to stay at rest.

But that’s not the whole story. There’s more to it.

Unless acted on by an outside force."

BOOM. There it is.

An outside force.

That’s what I do. That’s who I am. And I’m a force to be fucking reckoned with.

So I don’t just try to teach you the things I know about health, fitness, nutrition, and overcoming any obstacle that may stand in your way.

Most of that is just information. You can get that anywhere. If you have access to the internet, you have pretty much every piece of information available to you with the push of a button (well, a tap on a touchscreen).

We’re after transformation.

I want you to become your own force to be reckoned with.

That’s what I’m after.

Because anyone can do most of what I do.

But not everyone will.

Can you?

Of course, you can.

But will you?

Well, that’s up to you.

Farewell,

Ev
