New Routes

When trying to develop the habit of daily movement, exercise, or physical fitness, try this:

On your way home from work, take a route that will go past your gym (your route to work doesn't matter as much for this).

This is especially effective if your gym is somewhat out of the way. You're far more likely to follow through with your workout for the day if you're already heading in that direction.

Use this momentum to your advantage.

Also important, pack your gym gear and have it IN THE CAR the night before. Mornings can be hectic, I know. And while you're at it, pack a spare set of workout gear and leave it in your car in the event you ever forget to pack it.
