“Just tell me what to do, and I’ll do it.”

“Just tell me what to do, and I’ll do it.”

This is something I hear quite often, particularly in the realm of fitness and nutrition.

It’s something I’ve also said more times than I’d like to admit.

The problem, at least in my case, is that I’ve usually said this from a place of frustration and discouragement, not strength and confidence.

I imagine that maybe you’ve experienced this yourself from time to time.

You can’t seem to find a fitness program that works for you. No matter what you eat or drink, your body doesn’t want to change. You’ve tried every diet and exercise program under the sun.

Or maybe, the sheer overwhelm of it all left you throwing up your hands in defeat.

There’s a lot to decipher when it comes to your health, and there’s no shortage of people happy to tell you what you need to do.

Everywhere you look, someone is promising that they have the answers you seek.

In some instances, they might. In most others, when it really comes down to it, what they had was hype and hyperbole with no real answers at all.

When I set out to create the Perfect Fitness Framework, although admittedly most of this whole process was a happy accident, I kept wondering why so many men and women struggled to make lasting change in their lives.

These weren’t lazy, unmotivated people. Most times these were people who, by all accounts, had successful careers, families, and lives.

And while I’m quite critical of hyped up claims promising quick results, I also openly acknowledge that there are A LOT of honest, genuine crusaders out there helping a lot of people. Most of these people I look to as mentors.

So, what gives?

What I found through hours of training, certifications and research was so simple that I couldn’t believe that I overlooked this for so long:

Nobody knows you better than you know you. That and nobody really wants to be told what to do.

I mentioned it before, it’s when I’m discouraged and frustrated that I forgo my own personal power. It’s when I start looking for someone to just tell me what to do.

Then, a little mojo comes back, and suddenly I feel like I have all of the answers again and whoever I sought out doesn’t know a damn thing. It’s a funny, but sinister cycle.

Because here’s the thing, in most cases I know what to do I just get impatient that things aren't working as fast as I want them to so I assume they aren’t working.

I bet that when it comes to changing your body and your life you, too, know what to do.

You might not be proficient in all of the skills necessary to bring this to life (which is completely fine), but at a high-level you know what needs to get done.

I’ve built the entire Perfect Fitness Framework around this premise. It’s not a diet or exercise plan but rather a framework to help bring about systematic, sustainable, progressive change.

The PFF is designed to guide you, not tell you, step-by-step through the fundamentals of lasting change by leveraging simple nutritional and exercise principles and helping you figure out how to make these work for you.

I’m a firm believer that everything works, but not everything is going to work for you. The key, then, is to find what works for you and do more of that. And if you happen to find something that doesn’t work for you, great, do less of that.

Because I’m on a mission to help at least 10,000 people a year transform their lives, where the strength and confidence they develop in their health becomes strength and confidence in all other areas of their life, I knew that I needed help bringing my vision to life.

That’s why I put the best of the Perfect Fitness Framework into my Habit Tracking Success Journal.

I created this Journal to help you overcome two of the biggest hurdles to lasting change: a lack of focus and accountability.
