In The Game of Life, Everyone's Athlete

Dear Friends,

Regardless of whether or not you have ever stepped foot on the field, court, or turf, I firmly believe we are all athletes.

Maybe I’m stretching the definition a bit. So be it. That’s how I like to roll.

But I’ll still take a moment to explain.

I view life to be as much of a sport or game to be played as soccer, football, or basketball.

The same pursuit of excellence by who we traditionally view as an athlete is no different than the pursuit of excellence that we must all pursue in our own lives.

There is no coincidence that many motivational videos feature clips of sporting events or why many motivational speakers use stories and examples of athletes.

These are the people who we can use as models in our own paths toward greatness, excellence, and mastery.

These are people who have, through focus, determination, passion, and purpose, dedicated their lives to getting better and better every single day.

The greatest athletes are the epitome of showing up and doing the work.

This is why Ben and I created Athletic Instinct Online.

We created this platform to provide every single person with the tools they need to be best equipped to compete in the game of life starting with fitness training.

This is not a competition with one another but rather a collaboration with everyone. There are no winners and losers here. This is a competition with ourselves and only ourselves.

I think Ernest Hemingway sums it up pretty nicely,

“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”

So, my friends, for those of us who seek superiority only over our former selves, I invite you to join Ben and me and let us support your journey toward greatness, excellence, and mastery. Let us do together the things that would have seemed impossible all on our own.

You know I believe in you. You know I know that you possess everything within you to create a life of passion and purpose. Let’s unleash that.

The world needs that. The world needs you. All of you.

With Love,
