Could You Be Great?

Dear Friends,

I love you. I do. From the bottom of my heart, if you’re reading this know that I love you, I support you, and I believe in you.

And as your friend I need to tell you something.

You’re selling yourself short.

You probably don’t even realize you’re doing it.

Many don’t. I know I didn’t.

It’s my job to challenge the stories you tell yourself. It’s these stories that dictate how we view ourselves and the world around us.

What happens from here is critical.

The stories we tell ourselves dictate the choices that we make on a daily basis.

These choices then lead to the actions that we take.

And the actions we take eventually become our habits and our habits become who we are.

We are what we consistently do.

Excellence is a habit.

Greatness is a habit.

Success is a habit.

As Eric Thomas (also known as ET The Hip Hop Preacher) said, “Winners win, and losers lose."

I’m going to challenge the story you’re currently telling yourself, and I challenge you to take a good look and see if this story continues to serve you and your highest purpose.

The latter piece of that is vital. Your current story may serve you. You may be doing just fine and are content with where you are. You’re doing "good."

But when we call in our highest purpose, good is not enough.

Since good is not going to cut it, I have to ask; could you be great?

Not will you be great or are you great. But could you be?

What answer immediately comes to mind?

If you answered yes then that’s good news. We just need to find out what it’ll take to get you there.

But if you answered no, then you and I need to talk. If that's the case, then you have some explaining to do, and you better believe I’m goingto challenge everything you tell me. Because I’m not buying it.

Now, if you don’t want to be great, excellent, or powerful in your life, that’s fine. Really, it is and there is nothing I want more than for you to find happiness and fulfillment in the ways that best serve your highest vision. Just know that nothing about what I write or talk about is going to be for you, and I’d hate to waste your time.

But if you want to be great but don’t think you have the capability or capacity to do so then I challenge you to tell me why. I challenge you to talk to me one on one and explain all of the reasons why.

Do I think you could be great? Absolutely. That’s why I believe in you so much. I know it’s there. I know it’s within you. You just might not see it yet. But it’s there. I promise it’s there.

Let’s go find it.

Love always,
